Reigning New Zealand strokeplay champion Robby Turnbull leads by two shots in the under-19 boys division, North Island strokeplay champion Emma Zheng shares the under-19 girls lead with Chloe Lam, in-form Otago junior Ricky Kang leads the under-16 boys section by three, and Japanese golfer Lannie Inoue takes an early three-shot lead in the under-16 girls division.
