Brooke Donoghue and Hannah Osborne have claimed New Zealand's second medal at the Tokyo Games, finishing second in the women's double sculls final.
The duo trailed the winning Romanian crew, who put on a superb display, by nearly four seconds.
However, they led in a close trio which fought for the remaining two medals.
The Netherlands came in third for bronze.
The Kiwi pair's medal follows Hayden Wilde's bronze in the men's triathlon on Monday.
