The Canterbury High School All Star boys and girls' teams will play before the Breakers on December 20. The girls game will tip-off at 2.10pm followed by the boys at 3.50pm.
The high school games come after a great McDonald's Thompson and Whelan Trophy season. Canterbury teams also performed well at nationals, with Cashmere High School finishing fourth in the top boys' division and Christchurch Girls' High School finishing eighth in the top girls' division.
It will be the first time the Breakers have played in Christchurch since 2004.
The Breakers come to town with a lot of hype and media attention around the touted top five 2020 NBA Draft pick R.J. Hampton.
