Chopper called to serious crash on skifield road

Emergency services including a rescue helicopter have been called to the scene of a serious crash near Wānaka.

Hato Hone St John was notified of the crash in Cardrona at 10:34am, a spokesman said.

One helicopter attended.

Police also responded to the crash on Cardrona Skifield Road.

The Serious Crash Unit had been advised.
