A man has died after being crushed by a boiler at his Christchurch workplace.
Emergency services were called to Resource Recycling Technologies, a scrap metal company on Chapmans Rd, Woolston, about 10.30am on Monday.
The man, in his 40s, had part of a boiler roll on top of him while he was cutting it up.
WorkSafe is investigating the incident.
