Celebrating finishing Queenstown Marathon earlier this month are (back, from left) dairy farmer Simon Johnson, of South Canterbury, vegetable production factory owner-operator Glen Reid, of Hawke’s Bay, rural reporter Shawn McAvinue, of Dunedin, and sheep and beef farmer Glen Mitchell, of Lumsden.

The four men all ran the 42.2km race to raise money for Jack Berry, 17, of Wānaka, who has been in a wheelchair since a spinal stroke in October last year.

Any money raised would be used to get Jake and his adaptive gear to snow sports competitions.

The givealittle campaign "Inspired by Jake" closes on Saturday.
