Strath Taieri farmers Andrew and Lynnore Templeton, the winners of this year's Otago Ballance Farm Environment Awards, will host a field day on their property on November 8.
Mr and Mrs Templeton farm The Rocks Station, a 2875ha sheep and beef property near Middlemarch.
Speakers include John Hollows, on the potential of incorporating freshwater crayfish into riparian waterways, Robin Thomas from the QEII National Trust on the region's natural biodiversity, and specialist dryland consultant Peter Young.
