Mr Fraser, of Gore, said Ravensdown sponsored the trust because it served the rural community.

Ms Seaton, of Dunedin, said the trust was ‘‘incredibly grateful’’ for the support, which it relied on to continue its service across the lower South Island.

‘‘It’s wonderful to have the support from the rural community.’’
