The next generation of the livestock industry gathered at Lake Hāwea Station last Friday, with the third iteration of the Nextgen Muster 2023. Nextgen Agri International Ltd chief executive Mark Ferguson said the event, which serves as a hands-on educational day for farmers aged between 16 and 35, had been crafted in the wake of the pandemic as a way of reconnecting farmers from across the South Island.

"The aim is to get young people in the livestock industry to get together and learn some things."
