Registrations encouraged

Alliance Group farmer-shareholders are being encouraged to register for its upcoming capital raise roadshow, which start and end in the South.

At the roadshow events, Alliance chairman Mark Wynne and chief executive Willie Wiese would provide more details on the proposed strategic investment partnership with Dawn Meats Group.

The first roadshow event begins in Tuatapere at 10am on September 29 and the last one begins in Middlemarch at 2pm on October 14.

Farmer-shareholders would also have an opportunity to vote or appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf.

Mr Wynne said registration was essential to ensure attendance.

Some venues had capacity limits, which meant Alliance could not guarantee entry for those who arrived without prior registration.

He encouraged all shareholders to attend one of the roadshow meetings.

"This is an important opportunity to hear directly from the company, ask questions and gain a clear understanding of the proposed investment partnership."

Other events in Otago and Southland were Mossburn and Invercargill on September 29, Winton, Tokonui and Gore on September 30, Wyndham, Heriot and Balclutha on October 1, Mosgiel and Oamaru on October 2 and Alexandra on October 14.

Shareholders could expect to receive a scheme booklet and accompanying information about a special general meeting soon.
