Glenside Simmental owners Garry and Julene McCorkindale held their female cattle dispersal sale and final bull sale in South Otago last week.
Prices for in-calf cows included $17,000 for Glenside 22221, $15,500 for Glenside 20210, $14,000 for Glenside 19913.
Rising 2-year-old bull 1703240072 sold for the top price of $18,000.
The sale marks the end of their family’s nearly 160-year tenure of the land in Waitahuna.
