The Lawrence Lions Club has postponed the 2021 Lawrence McKeown Farmarama until 2023, due to Covid-19 uncertainty.

"Planning is pretty much a big one for us and we would hate to get close [to the 2021 event] and have to cancel, which would diabolical for us," club secretary and Farmarama co-convener Karen Robertson said.

Farmarama has been held on alternate years to the Southern Field Days and usually attracted between 90 and 100 exhibitors, plus staff, as well as up to 800 people through the gate.

Between $15,000 and $20,000 was usually raised and given back to community organisations and groups.

The club has also postponed their annual Stars In Their Eyes event.
