The series "Outstanding Outhouses" features images of striking structures on southern farms including this historic woolshed near Paerau, in Maniototo.

Paerau, also known as the Styx, lies in the valley of the upper Taieri River between Rough Ridge on the north-west and the Rock and Pillar Range to the east.
