Another big weekend of sport is coming up in Canterbury - check it out at a venue near you.

Cricket

The fifth round of the premier men's two-day trophy will see St Albans look to continue their perfect start to the competition against winless Sydenham.

In the women's one-day premiership, Lancaster Park and St Albans meet in a top of the table clash. Lancaster Park are currently unbeaten in eight rounds of the competition.

Hockey

The Black Sticks will be at Nga Puna Wai this weekend as part of the FIH Pro League.

When the Black Sticks women meet the United States in two matches, they will be looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats to Great Britain.

Meanwhile, the men will be looking for their first win in the competition when they host Spain in consecutive games.

It's make or break for the Breakers at Horncastle Arena on Friday night.

The Breakers meet the South East Melbourne Phoenix in their last regular season match and need a win to all but cement a playoff spot.
