The driver, who was travelling at speed, failed to stop for police in Hillsborough about 1.20am on Sunday.
They then crashed into another car a short time later at the intersection of Garlands and Opawa Rds, Opawa.
The driver fled the scene but was located soon after, a police spokeswoman said.
The sole passenger of the fleeing vehicle was transported to hospital, but not seriously injured.
The two occupants of the other vehicle were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Police inquires into the incident are ongoing.
