A person has been injured following a car crash in Christchurch on Thursday morning.

Police, St John and Fire and Emergency NZ were called to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Boston Ave and Springs Rd in Hornby about 6.45am.

A FENZ spokesman said no persons were trapped in either vehicle.

One person sustained minor injuries and was treated by St John at the scene.
