
Andrew and Cath Weir, the founders and original owners of the Ris’tretto Cafe in St Albans, Christchurch, have opened the site at 68 Ohoka Rd, opposite Kaiapoi High School.
It aims to complement their Waikuku-based coffee roasting business and bring their multi-award-winning espresso to the town.
“We wanted to bring our style of old school service, real value for money, house made food and, of course, our espresso to Kaiapoi, with a retro design fit out that has a real nostalgia feel about it,” Andrew and Cath say.
Ris'tretto Espresso Bar boasts a cabinet full of house made savoury and sweet treats, along with a menu of authentic bagels and toasted sandwiches.
