A true battle of the sexes!
Which two New Zealand celebrities will be battling it out to design the ultimate Man Cave or She Shed?
All will be revealed over the coming weeks.....
With a fixed budget of $10k for each shed and using the same standardised space (3.9m by 2.4m), each celebrity will create their own shed reflecting their individuality. Placemakers, working with the teachers and students from the Otago Polytechnic are taking care of the build.
On Saturday 6th November all will be revealed at The Great Kiwi Home and Living Show where you can see for yourself just what can be achieved with a small space and budget in your very own back yard!
Show visitors will get to vote for their favourite shed before they are auctioned off on Sunday 6th November with all proceeds going to charity.
The Man Cave charity is Movember and The She Shed charity is Breast Cancer

Saturday 1st October – WHAT IS A MAN CAVE/SHE SHED
Introduce the event, reveal the contestants, explain the competition, show what the man caves and she sheds have been built.
Saturday 8th October – SHE SHED
Reveal of who the celebrity is designing the She Shed and what designs ideas she has had.
Saturday 15th October MAN CAVE
Reveal of who the celebrity is designing the Man Cave and what designs ideas he has had.
Saturday 22nd October – THE BUILD
The building of the sheds at Placemakers- The process, step by step guide, build considerations.
29th October – Auction
Details on the Auction and how you can bid.
