Lorde will perform at the Dunedin Town Hall on November 7.
The 20-year-old is about to release her second album, Melodrama, due out on June 16.
As part of her Melodrama World Tour Lorde will play six shows at home - one in each of Dunedin (at the Town Hall), Christchurch and Wellington, and three at the Powerstation in Auckland.
The singer is also due to perform five shows in Australia.
Frontier member pre-sales will begin on Wednesday, June 14 at 2pm and general public tickets will go on sale Monday. June 19 at 12pm.
