Quiz Questions
- Each of the six quiz questions will be open for a limited time and can only be answered during the dates specified above.
- The same questions will be printed in the newspaper, in order, on 26 December 2025, 30 December 2025, 3 January 2026, 5 January 2026, 8 January 2026, and 10 January 2026.
- Printed questions will link to online entry forms. There will also be an option to enter by submitting a completed paper entry form via post.
Prizes
- There are over 100 prizes to be won, including:
- Main Prize: 2 × Gold Passes to Warbirds over Wānaka (Easter weekend, 3–5 April 2026)
- Spot Prizes:
- 3 × 5 double passes (15 double passes total) to Super Smash Otago Cricket matches in Dunedin (January 2026)
- 7 × 5 double passes (35 double passes total) to Highlanders home games in Dunedin
- 20 × ODT Monopoly board games

Winners
- Spot prize winners will be drawn from participants who correctly answer at least one question.
- The main prize winner will be drawn on 14 January 2026 from all participants who correctly answered at least one quiz question.
- Winners will be notified via email or phone and must confirm acceptance of their prize and provide any required information within 48 hours. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize and a redraw.
- A maximum of one prize per person (or per email address) may be won during the campaign.
- Event tickets will be emailed straight away or provided later in the year once issued by the event organisers.
- Physical prizes may be collected from the ODT Dunedin office from Monday, 19 January 2026, or couriered free of charge to a New Zealand address, as agreed with each winner.
- The main prize winner agrees to have their name and image used for publicity and future marketing purposes without compensation and grants the promoter ownership of all related copyright. The winner’s name will be published on the campaign website (odt.co.nz/quiz).
Other Rules
- Employees of Allied Press Ltd and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
- Prize winners will be contacted using the details provided in the entry form. The promoter is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete contact information.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering, participants consent to being contacted by Allied Press Ltd for offers and promotions using the contact details provided.
- The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition and these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- Any participant providing false or misleading information or engaging in fraudulent or dishonest behaviour may be disqualified.
- If Warbirds over Wānaka or any other listed event cannot proceed for any reason, alternative arrangements may be made, including cancellation of the prize.
