Jewelley from “Alms for the Memory Keeper”, by Bannockburn artist Megan Huffamine. This is an enchanting exhibition about memories hidden in charms and incantations. The exhibition runs until November 18 at the Milford Gallery, Queenstown.
This week's highlights:

What's it all about?
What is Freemasonry? Who are Freemasons? And what do Freemasons do? Get the answers from Freemason John Rees at the Otago Settlers Museum on Sunday 2pm during his free talk entitled "Square & Compasses", in conjunction with the exhibition "Square & Compasses: Freemasonry in New Zealand". The story of the craft of Freemasonry in Otago is also revealed in this exhibition.

The heart of Argentina
Be at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery on Saturday for the Argentinian tango workshop, in association with the exhibitions Miguel Angel Rios, Tom Kreisler and David Clegg: Rerecordings 2006-2009. Numbers are limited and booking is essential. Phone 474-3249.
