British actor Idris Elba has a "whole room" in his home dedicated to his ever-growing shoe collection.
The 43-year-old admits his obsession with footwear has got so out of control, he no longer knows how many pairs of shoes and trainers he has.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the star of Luther said: "I can't even say [how many sneakers I have]. I have a whole room that has a container - half that container is trainers and shoes."
Elba has released two clothing lines for high street retailer Superdry, and revealed his favourite pair of trainers are the YEEZY, the range designed by rapper Kanye West.
“I just got a nice pair that I love."
Elba, who recently starred in Star Trek Beyond, said he always wanted to be noticed in the fashion world.
"I kind of did have a beeline to want to be noticed a little bit. But not in a way that I am going to be the highlight of men's fashion week and make a big splash like that."
