Broad Bay School pupil Mila Richardson (7) with her artwork which won an award at the annual Peninsula Schools Art Exhibition yesterday.
The competition involves Bayfield High School, Tahuna Intermediate and the seven primary schools on the Otago Peninsula, displaying chosen artwork from a selection of pupils.
A judge awards a first place to the best artwork from each school, and two highly commended awards.
The winners were: Charlotte Campbell (Tahuna Intermediate), Mila Robertson (Broad Bay School), Thomas Pope (Portobello), Neve Darlington (Macandrew Bay School), Jessica McLellan (Andersons Bay School), Te Arepa Matena (Tainui School), Ben Knopp (St Brigid's School), Skye Talor Walkinshaw (Bathgate Park School), and Toby Flanders, Jayden Campbell, Zac Scott, Tyla Clutterbuck and Alex Smith (Musselburgh School).
