Fiona's mum Maureen is the best because... Because she has always been there for my family & I, and does a lot of volunteering in Alexandra at Alexandra Community Advice Network & Central Otago Waste Busters because she has a heart of gold.
Tom's mum Joanne - My mum is the best as she does a humongous amount of work behind the scenes. She does it without moaning and always encourages and supports me in what I do! She would do anything for me.
Bronson's mum Vernice - My mum is the BEST because she is the least selfish and most honest and caring woman I know. Mum always goes above and beyond to ensure our needs are met even though she goes without to do so. We love her so much.

Here are all the entries into the Otago Daily Times 'Why my Mum is the best!' Mother's Day Competition. With so many deserving mum's entered in the competition we had to narrow it down and the top 19 have been published in the ODT Mother's Day Feature on Wednesday 8th May. The winner will be announced in the ODT on Saturday May 11th.
