Registered Master Builders 2014 House of the Year Southern Region organising committee.
The Southern Region Registered Master Builders 2014 House of the Year Awards, held recently in Invercargill, was a chance for all Registered Master Builders from the Southern region, encompassing Otago, Southland and Gore, to showcase their expertise in all levels of residential construction, from renovations through to high-end new homes.
The judging for each of the categories is consistent nationwide, which means every entry is judged against the same criteria and by the same judges as a builder in Nelson or Taranaki.
Entry standards are extremely high and to be successful requires the utmost attention to detail and top quality workmanship.
These awards are a benchmark for building excellence around the country and recognition through achievement of Gold, Silver and Bronze quality marks proves the exceptional work our members produce.
In 2014 there will be 11 regional events.
Throughout the country up to 100 of the top properties will go through to a national awards night to be held in Auckland in November.
