Carolyn McMillan is a trustee of the Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust.
What was the best birthday present you ever received, and why?
My husband proposed to me on my birthday by tricking me that we needed to have beach photos taken for an Indian newspaper article just before he went to play cricket in India.
What is your message?
Be kind to others - you never know what battle they are battling - and treat everyone as you would expect to be treated yourself.
If you were going to an island and could take only three things, what would they be and why?
My husband, James, and kids, Hunter (6) and Annabelle (4), a large container that holds all the ingredients for all the cocktails and mocktails we could ever want to make (as they are compulsory on an island) and very strong sunscreen, as I recently got burnt in Fiji and don't want that happening again.
What's something only your family knows about you?
My nickname is Boo, which originated from Yogi Bear and Boo Boo.
You are a new addition to the crayon box. What colour are you, and why?
I am yellow with sprinklings of gold glitter. Yellow is the colour of hope. At Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust we make yellow ribbons for people to pin on their clothes. It starts much needed conversations regarding suicide. The gold glitter is the sprinkle of my personality.
