A 52-year-old man was arrested at 8.55am on Sunday for the burglary of an Oamaru commercial yard on Caledonian Rd.
It was believed he stole transport equipment such as strops, Police Sergeant Rory McGeown said. The Oamaru man was also in possession of a stolen motor vehicle from Christchurch.
