Police are looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl and a tourist in Oamaru.
Sergeant Blair Wilkinson said a man exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl in the Wharfe St and Wansbeck St area shortly after 3pm on Monday.
As the girl was walking home from school she was approached by the man described as a skinny, about 20. He was wearing a multi-coloured zip up hoodie and carrying a white plastic shopping bag.
Sgt Wilkinson said police received another report of indecent exposure, in the Oamaru Harbour area, after an alleged incident at 5pm on Sunday night was reported to police.
Sunday night's incident involved a man described as skinny, about 20 to 30 years old, with blonde/brown hair wearing a dark hoodie and carrying a small bicycle with him.
A tourist reported to police that the man had exposed his genitals and was masturbating in the Oamaru Harbour area.
Police believe it is the same offender.
''We're very keen to identify this man ... and put a stop to this behaviour,'' Sgt Wilkinson said.
