One person is injured after a car collided with a cyclist in Invercargill.
Police were called to Queen's Dr, near the intersection of Bainfield Rd, at 4.59pm.
One person was being taken to Southland Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, a St John spokeswoman said.
A police spokeswoman asked motorists to avoid the area.
Diversions were being put in place.
