'Special Olympics' training camp attracts athletes

A "Special Olympics" ski and snowboarding programme has attracted 28 athletes with intellectual disabilities from around New Zealand to a training camp at Cardrona Alpine Resort.

About 50 people are involved with the week-long skiing and snowboarding camp, an annual event organised by New Zealand's Special Olympics Association which helps athletes with intellectual disabilities.
