Wakatipu High School won four from four to win the cup grade, while its second XI shared the spoils in the shield grade with the Otago Boys’ Colts.

Matthew Stewart, of Waitaki Boys’, was named MVP for scoring 162 runs, including two half-centuries.

In the districts under-19 women’s tournament being staged in Oamaru this weekend, Dunedin beat North Otago by 103-run yesterday, while Otago Country beat Southland by 134 runs.
