Pitman prepared the winners of races 4 through to 8, as he brought his holiday tally to 10 wins from just two meetings.
Lukander kicked Pitman's streak off in race 4 by providing his half-brother with an ideal sales pitch ahead of the Magic Millions yearling sale on the Gold Coast next week.
Lukander's victory at Omakau yesterday came on the back of Conscious Mistake's win in the open sprint at Waikouaiti on Wednesday.
Both geldings are out of the Straussbrook mare Sutology, who is also the dam of talented mare Berenice.
Breeder John Pitman, the brother of Michael Pitman, has an Encosta De Lago yearling colt entered in the sale in Queensland, and the colt will go through the ring on January 12.
A High Chaparral colt out of Sutology went through the Inglis Easter sale last year, fetching $300,000.
Michael Pitman said Lukander will now press on to the Gore Guineas on January 18.
Pitman's summer form continued when his daughter-in-law, Brittany Pitman, produced a patient ride to get Gervasio home in the rating 65 1400m.
The Mr Nancho 5yr-old is raced by leading Central Districts jockey Hayden Tinsley and his partner, Carla Hearn, who trained the gelding at the start of his career.
The on switch may have just flicked with El Doute, who was arrogant in winning a rating 65 1400m. Jamie Bullard sent the 3yr-old colt on a long run around the outside of the field and he waltzed away to beat Ima Geegee by 2 lengths.
Pitman told the Otago Daily Times on Sunday the colt had enjoyed the change of scenery when he was brought south to spend the summer at Waikouaiti.
The fresh surroundings seem to have worked, as Pitman expanded on the change in El Doute's demeanour yesterday.
''He's just a different horse - he's out in the paddock and he's got three horses beside him.
''Going to the beach and working up the hill at Waikouaiti has been a big asset to us for a number of years. Certain horses handle it and certain horses don't, but the ones that do seem to find a length or two and their stride gets better.''
The powerful son of Redoute's Choice will now cross Cook Strait in a quest to further his pulling power in the breeding barn - provided his breeding tools remain intact.
''If we geld him, I think he's a super horse,'' Pitman said.
''But he's a stallion chance if he can win a nice race.''
The group 1 Levin Classic (1600m) is at Trentham on January 18.
El Doute may head north, but Pitman is still weighing up whether Darci Coup will do the same despite her impressive win in the Clare Memorial Gold Cup over 2000m.
Jockey David Walsh sat patiently five lengths off the back of the field in the back straight before powering home to beat a game King Prawn.
''Ray [co-owner Ray Coupland] left it to me. I said to him at some stage they have to show toughness. The only way to find if they are tough enough is back them up,'' Pitman said.
''I might end up going to the Dunedin Cup instead of Wellington yet.
''She was unlucky last year running second to Monachee and she's come back even better this year.''
