Nicky Aldridge-Masters has been appointed acting chief executive of the Otago Chamber of Commerce.
She joined the chamber as operations manager in 2017, overseeing training, events and membership support, and brings a background in primary healthcare management and policy development, and a range of management experience.
President Grant McKenzie said the chamber board’s decision to appoint Ms Aldridge-Masters in the acting role recognised the importance of having a leader who had a comprehensive understanding of the chamber, its staff, membership and collaboration relationships, particularly during the transition to the new Business Organisation for the South, in partnership with the Otago Southland Employers’ Association.
