    Authorities are investigating this morning after an electric vehicle charging station exploded in North Canterbury yesterday.

    Fire and Emergency were called to the ChargeNet station on Carters Road in Amberley, just before 6pm. 

    No one was injured in the explosion.

    The story is as of now all it cost to run these things is the power to charge it..... in time when there are more of these on the road. the government will bring in a type of road user charge like trucks have..... this will bring the cost to run these ev to about the same as a small petrol car.... so the logic is go full from the start to back again.....
