A truck driver is dead after his truck rolled near Collingwood in Golden Bay this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Mt Burnett Rd, about 7km towards Farewell Spit, just after 4.20pm, a Fire Service spokesman said.
Takaka police were not available to provide further details.
Mt Burnett is the site of New Zealand's only dolomite mine.
