Discount fuel site recently opened in Green Island by NPD

A new discount fuel site has recently opened in Green Island by NPD- a South Island-owned and operated family business. The new Self Serve station is open 24/7, hosts a spacious forecourt, and has 6 pumps with a capacity for up to 12 vehicles. As an unmanned Self Serve site, NPD Green Island is run with significantly lower capital and operational costs, which enables NPD to offer discounted fuel prices for all motorists.

“We are pleased to be supporting the Green Island community with great value fuel,” says NPD Chief Executive Barry Sheridan.

The opening of the new site is part of NPD’s plan to build over 20 additional sites throughout the South Island.

“This ongoing expansion enables us to provide better coverage, whilst achieving improved economies of scale, enabling us to enhance our fuel discount offer to South Island motorists,” said Sheridan.

As an NPD Self Serve site, NPD Green Island provides an instant discount to all motorists without the need for a loyalty card or voucher.

On top of Regular 91, Premium 95 and Diesel, NPD Green Island is the first in the Dunedin area to offer 100Plus High Octane Petrol. NPD’s new 100Plus is one of the highest octane, road legal petrol grades to be offered in New Zealand from an established fuel retail network.

NPD 100Plus is a specially formulated unleaded petrol with no ethanol content. It is designed to enhance engine performance, reduce harmful emissions, and can reduce fuel consumption.
