A Melbourne man who fatally bashed his sister and left a note for police signed "justice maker" has been jailed for more than a decade.
Ning Wang was convicted of the manslaughter of 57-year-old Qin at Clayton South in southeast Melbourne in February 2019.
He attacked his sister over a dispute about money and the care of their 90-year-old father, who had cancer and dementia.
Wang left two notes for police.
"Dear officers: I have killed my sister Qin at 7am to acheave (sic) my justice," one read.
Another was signed "justice maker".
Wang, then aged 68, dragged the body to the boot of his car and drove to another sister's home to tell her he killed Qin.
He also assaulted his nephew with a metal pole.
Wang was jailed in Victoria's Supreme Court on Wednesday for 10 years and three months.
He must serve six years and four months before he can be considered for release on parole.
Justice Rita Incerti earlier this year acquitted Wang of murder.
She found he hadn't intended to seriously harm or kill Qin, who most likely died from positional asphyxia following the assault.
