Bright start to day

Runners set out on the Leith Harbour free time trial about 9am yesterday morning, backlit by the rising sun. Conditions at the time were still, with a temperature of about 5°C. About 110 racers took part in the 5km, 8km or 10km courses, which were run on the shared pathway Te Aka Ōtākou. The event was organised by the Leith Harrier and Athletic Club.
