Disqualified driver charged over burnouts

A 22-year-old Dunedin man has had his car impounded after being apprehended by Dunedin police for doing burnouts on Dalziel Rd.

Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said the man was charged with sustained loss of traction, as well as two petrol drive-offs, and driving after being disqualified from driving.

He is due to appear in the Dunedin District Court on Thursday.
