Ducati motorcycle riders are on a tour of the South Island at present.
More than 40 riders from the Ducati Official Club, New Zealand, departed Dunedin from outside Scenic Hotel Southern Cross in High St yesterday.
Organiser John Mathieson said the group would travel to locations such as Croydon, Te Anau and Ohau and the six-day tour would finish in Nelson.
The riders were all fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and they were being managed as a group for accommodation bookings, he said.
The tour has in recent years run annually, alternating between the North Island and South Island.
