Four hurt in three-car crash

Emergency services attended a three-car crash which left four people injured in North East Valley this morning.

A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said it was called to reports of a crash on the intersection of Bank St and Dolphin St at 10.34am.

Two appliances from Willowbank and Dunedin Central attended.

Three cars were involved in the crash.

It was initially reported an unknown number of people were trapped in the cars, but four people were all out of their cars on arrival.

A St John spokesman said four people were injured, two with moderate injuries and two with minor injuries.

All were taken to Dunedin Hospital.
