Every little bit helps.

Emily Horsewood and Abbey Johnston (both 10) , who have spent most of this week baking tasty treats to sell at Mosgiel's Elmgrove School, have raised more than $150 for Caleb Turner (2, centre).

The money will go towards the $45,000 needed to send Caleb, who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, to Mexico for more stem-cell treatment.

So far, the family has raised about $37,000.

Before his initial stem-cell treatment in December last year, Caleb suffered up to 30 seizures on an average day, and 50 on a bad one.

He now has only four or five.

His parents plan to return to Mexico as early as next month for more treatment in the hope it will give Caleb "a better quality of life".
