A power pole was felled by a car in the Dunedin suburb of St Clair yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the crash at the intersection of Aberdeen Rd and Sutcliffe St, about 3.30pm.

No-one was injured in the incident, she said.

Delta spokesman Gary Johnson said the pole, owned by Chorus, had a low-voltage line servicing one house. The house lost its power supply and Delta staff worked to restore the service.
