Auctions and raffles would be run during the day.

The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation ''Oaks'' will feature up to eight amateur riders from Mosgiel and Dunedin riding against multiple group 1-winning jockey Chris Johnson in a race over 800m.

Each amateur rider has to raise at least $300 to take part, with proceeds to be donated to the foundation.

In honour of the cause, Johnson will be in the pink riding breeches he wore when winning the Pink Ribbon Cup at Caulfield in Melbourne last month.
