The two-millionth visitor to Olveston Historic Home was among a group of passengers from the cruise ship Sun Princess, which visited Dunedin yesterday.

Olveston was built between 1904 and 1907 for Dunedin businessman, collector and philanthropist David Theomin and his family.

It was opened to the public as a historic house museum in 1967 and has remained a time capsule, because little has changed inside the house since it was occupied by the family.
