Moana Pool’s hydro-slide will be closed this weekend, while the St Clair Hot Salt Water Pool will operate under reduced hours, as the Dunedin City Council manages the continuing impact of Covid-19.
DCC general manager community services Simon Pickford said the temporary closure of the hydro-slide would ensure pool staff could be deployed to more critical areas, allowing Moana Pool to remain open.
At the same time, the St Clair Hot Salt Water Pool will operate under reduced hours, opening from 10am to 5pm today and tomorrow, before returning to normal hours on Monday.
The Port Chalmers community pool remains closed for now.
