A man has died of a suspected heart attack at a West Auckland brothel yesterday afternoon.
The man was at the The Candy Club, an "adult entertainment centre" tucked away next to Bunnings Warehouse on Great North Rd in New Lynn.
St John was called to the club at 4.15pm, and police werealso called to assist, a police spokeswoman said.
The man's death appeared to be medical but would be referred to the Coroner, she said.
Police were notifying next-of-kin.
The Candy Club is billed as "a one stop adult fun spot" on its website, boasting a bar and pool tables along with brothel facilities.
The club's manager declined to comment to the Herald.
