Sally Ridge's legal stoush with ex-partner Adam Parore will continue in the High Court at Auckland this morning.

The former Black Cap's Small Business Accounting (SBA) has taken bankruptcy proceedings against the socialite over $100,000 she owed him.

Ridge lost her legal battle to gain half of Mr Parore's business and was told to pay six-figure costs.

But she claimed she did not have the means to pay up and today her bid to stay the creditor's application will be heard by Associate Judge Tony Christiansen.

"Given she has a net worth in excess of $2 million and the judgment is only for $101,000 the company is confident of recovery," Mr Parore said in July.

Ms Ridge and her daughter Jaime took Mr Parore to court in September last year seeking a 50 per cent shareholding in SBA and the back-payment of unpaid dividends.

They suffered a resounding loss and in his judgment, Justice Murray Gilbert said Ms Ridge's claim failed "at the first hurdle".

Ms Ridge's appeal against a High Court decision stumbled after she failed to pay $5880 as security for costs.

The Herald also revealed last week BNZ had compounded the celebrity's financial woes by pursuing her for $300,000 she allegedly owed from a guarantee loan in 2007.

Ms Ridge claimed Mr Parore was trying to ruin her but promised the truth would eventually come out.

Today's hearing is expected to take last half a day.
