Progress is evident at Christchurch’s One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha, yesterday afternoon.

The Christchurch City Council said in a statement yesterday seating installation for the 25,000-plus seat stadium started last month and was progressing well.

Installation of the exterior cladding was more than half completed.

The solid section of roof cladding above the south stand was almost finished, and the clear ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) roof installation was now under way.

The roof installation would continue into late this year, the statement said.
