A woman who was found with critical injuries at a Feilding house has died.
The 49-year-old woman, who had been in Palmerston North Hospital since last Thursday, died yesterday morning in the presence of her family, police said today.
Her death was being treated as a homicide and investigators had a clear understanding of the woman's movements in the days leading up to the incident.
A post-mortem examination was being done today and the results would help police understand her injuries and how they may have been sustained.
The woman was found severely injured at her home last Thursday night.
